Senior Web Developer

Summary of Position:

We’re seeking an Senior-Level Web Developer with 3–5 years of experience.

  • Ability to utilize all hardware, software and peripheral elements of a desktop computer workstation for a  minimum of eight (8) hours, daily, for five (5) days in a row (a standard workweek).
  • Ability to use a telephone multiple times throughout a workday to verbally communicate with clients.
  • Ability to work well with other staff, vendors and clients in a collaborative and professional environment.


  • General understanding of web development processes and tools
  • Version Control experience
  • Proficient at HTML/CSS/Typescript/JS
  • Intermediate PHP experience including building API Endpoints
  • Experience working with third party APIs
  • Intermediate SQL Query experience

  • Experience with building sites from scratch

  • Day to day development tasks

  • Report directly to Ardent supervisor
  • Provide suggestions on application improvements throughout development


  • 3+ year(s) of professional web development experience
  • Understanding of web development life-cycle
  • Ability to hand code HTML, CSS, JS and PHP
  • Experience with building sites from scratch
  • General understanding of web development processes and tools
  • Ability to work with REST APIs
  • Use JavaScript to perform AJAX calls and integrate with back-end and third party systems
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
