If you live in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex and haven’t been to Babe’s or Bubba’s then you are hiding in a hole. Bubba’s was the first restaurant founded in 1981 by Paul and Mary Beth Vineyard. In 1993, the Vineyard family opened Babes’s in Roanoke and in doing so, created a chicken phenomenon. As good as the food is, what sets Babe’s apart is their support of the employees and customers. They treat their employees like family and even have a chaplain available for them.
The Babe’s family needed a website to market the Bubba’s location near SMU. The first task was to design a site which communicated the feel of the restaurant. We started with the base backgrounds and secondary elements. These areas would house the Art Deco elements found in the restaurant. Incorporate those elements with photos of the chicken and Bubba’s had a website to feature their food but communicated the Art Deco environment they are known for.See the Website
