The owner of Elite Destinations was just branching out on her own when she came to Ardent and asked us to design a website. With a desire to appeal to higher-end clientele, Elite Destinations needed Ardent to create a brand and a website that were both classic and refined while still setting the company apart from others in the industry.

In order to birth a new brand, Ardent Creative researched related websites, logos, and images to determine the best way to distinguish Elite Destinations from other travel companies while remaining true to the industry. Using colors the client expressed liking, Ardent recommended complementary colors that fit the high-end brand and presented a refined look.

Ardent wanted to stay away from plane and globe logos to distinguish Elite Destinations from other travel brands. Similarly, our designers chose to avoid blues and oranges often associated with travel in favor of more elite colors like gold and purple. Typefaces represent classic sophistication.

The goal of the company is to make travel easy for customers, not weigh them down with a confusing online experience. They want to simplify vacation planning, not make it more complicated. Ardent used a simple parallax design to allow for easy navigation and chose images of destinations rather than people to allow visitors to imagine themselves in each location. The hues of images mimic the colors of the brand for a complete look.
